If you prefer non-lethal, keep in mind that if you get the punch-through-walls Aug (Fun, by no means required) and there is someone on the other side, you'll kill them, no exceptions. the Stealth Hack Aug is kind of handy, lowers your chances of triggering the ICE, period. either the datastore is en-route, or it's not. Never bothered with the Analyze Aug for hacking. I don't run'n'gun nearly enough to rationalize any of the recoil suppressors. It's nice being able to jump off buildings and land safely, or never have to use a ladder into the sewers again. That said, how are you planning on playing? "Mostly-Silent" I go for Dbl-Takedown, Arms(Inventory expansion), Legs, Jumping, and ILS.
Silly HungerSTGF, there's no swimming Aug in DX:HR. Field of view cones is ok, but tends to clog up your radar. Even a stealthy character won't need them. Stealth Augs (field of view cones, noise feedback, last known position, mark and tag) - most of these suck. Stun grenades aren't your biggest threat, not usually worth upgrading unless you have spare points. But seriously, you can just crouch, which lets you move at a decent speed.Ĭooldown Timer - no real benefit to this.įlash suppressant - makes you immune to stun grenades. It sounds like this one would be good for sniping, but it's the other way around. Don't get this one mixed up with the recoil reducer. You can also just do two individual take downs.Īim Stabilizer - You're not supposed to run and gun in this game. Guards don't often stand right next to each other. But you're better off putting points into stealth and capture hacking.ĭouble takedown - cool to watch, but rarely is useful. Hacking (fortify) - not the worst choice. You can just eat protein bars to get more energy.

Get these if you really want to invest in hacking. Sometimes you can wipe out an entire room of guards from just a computer. Robot and Turret domination - these are awesome.

Hacking (stealth) - Stealth will make hacking much easier to pull off. Hacking (capture) - Hacking is a huge part of this game. Jump Enhancement - not useful in combat, but needed to reach many areas Heavy Lifting - can be used offensive as a weapon, and you can access many areas, either by moving things that block your way, or stacking boxes to climb
